"Following on from three minimalist noise composition tapes, ‘Let’s Go There’ serves as both the debut LP release by Brussels based Carrageenan and the debut release on his newly baptised ‘Cold Moss’ label. Diverse, minimal, unyielding and hallucinatory, it represents a very natural progression in sound and form that is most definitely informed by his unique approach to and understanding of noise. Kicking off the proceedings with a kraut-like repetition that permeates through the entire album, the cavernous bass of ‘The Midnight Hour sets the tone for the story, before stripping everything down to the bare bones of the matter with the industrial mutant dub of ‘Everybody Loves When It Hurts’. ‘Dark Angel’ takes the listener further into the realms of inhumanities that only a select few would dare to imagine before ramping up the now cultish intensity to virtually Gothic heights of despair on ‘No One Told Me’ whilst still maintaining the tone that has been the principal driving force of all his previous releases. Equal parts Neu! And Unit Moebius this is a truly dangerous record that will make you want to ‘go there’ again and again – you’ve been warned!" John Philippakis
